Every young woman wants to know the best way to avoid of anti-aging skin problems. Well, the good news is, if you’ve taken good care of your skin before deep wrinkles start to appear, it will be naturally preserved until you reach your 30s or even 40s. There would be no need to undergo plastic surgeries to smoothen out wrinkles or remove saggy skin.
But experts also say that we have to understand that different factors cause anti-aging, so there is no one-secret solution formula for this. But what are these factors? If you think that sun and unhealthy eating habits are the only main causes of wrinkles, you’re wrong.
Upholding fat tissue wasting, too much muscle usage and ultra-violet-induced collagen loss cause wrinkles on our skin. It’s been said by the experts that these factors may be present, but you are the one in charge of the utmost wrinkle-molding agent, which are your emotions.
The so-called “mimetic muscles” are affected directly by your emotions, because these are a network of facial muscles that acts on your emotional currents when you form expressions that command the depth and position of deep wrinkles. However, there’s this so-called solution “emotional de-wrinkling”.
While plastic surgery is available to cut the mimetic muscles around a specific area to lessen the deep, curved lines around your nose and mouth area, you can actually control deep wrinkles before they come by having a good habitual state of mind.
Be aware of your emotions
Since we are too busy sometimes, we do not see or “feel” our facial expressions through our daily emotions that cause deep wrinkles. We must be aware of these habits by looking at the mirror any time you remember it and see what kind of facial expression and deep wrinkles you are causing when you are serious, tense, stressed or annoyed.
Do something to replace the negative emotions with positive ones
A friend told me a very wonderful tip. She read it from a beauty source blog too and I believe that this one helped her a lot. She told me to have a “Common Daily Emotion” chart and divide it into 3 columns. The first column, which is called the “habitual emotions” column should list your common daily emotions.
The second column lists the “deep wrinkles location” wherein you will describe the deep wrinkle that these emotions create or what your face particularly does in response to these emotions. Are your forehead or eyebrows wrinkling? Be specific.
The third one lists the “De-wrinkling emotion” wherein you will list some ways to battle these habits and replace them with good ones, such as smiling, relaxing, taking a deep breath and releasing facial tension; among others.
Get used to your “de-wrinkling” habits
Getting used to your new habits doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to use your hands to smoothen out the wrinkles. It’s about muscle memory and getting your face used to the good habit, or changing your facial expressions to ones without tension or deep wrinkles. One good example is to smile or to change the position of your eyebrows, so as not to cause wrinkles; among others. You’ll know them by trying.
To start practicing good habits is to hold your “de-wrinkling emotion” within two minutes when you’re doing something that usually make the bad habit. You can do this for a duration of 2 minutes as often as you can, until you get used to it.
